Capacity varies by space and layout. The Eliza Pinckney Courtyard accommodates 25-40 guests, the Exchange Studio up to 22 guests in boardroom, classroom or U-shaped configurations and the complete Pinckney Event Collection up to 60 guests across combined indoor & outdoor settings.
What audiovisual equipment is included, and what is available at an additional cost?
The Exchange Studio comes equipped with modern A/V, an 85” Smart TV, and guest controlled ambient audio. By utilizing ClickShare you may start your wireless presentation quickly and easily. Compatible with Windows and macOS. There is no additional cost for this technology. Any additional resources should be contracted for rental for your meeting.
Is catering required through the hotel, and what options are available?
The inn does not provide catering but does have a preferred catering and vendors list. But please consult with the inn directly for the feasibility to utilize a caterer/vendor outside the current approved list.
Can outside vendors be used, and what restrictions or approval processes apply?
The inn has a preferred catering & vendors list that can be provided but vendors outside this approved list will require special approval with Certificate of Insurance along with other requirements.
Venue Impact Fee on Food & Beverage 12% when using an approved preferred caterer; 20% if using a non‑preferred caterer. (This fee is not a gratuity.)
What is the deposit structure and final payment timeline?
Security Deposit (non‑refundable) equal to 50% of total due at contract signing to confirm date.
Balance of rental and estimated charges due 30 days prior to event.
Damage/Excessive Cleanup Deposit: $1,000, due 30 days prior; refundable within 14 days post‑event less any charges for damage, overtime, extraordinary cleanup or policy violations.
A valid credit card authorization is required 10 days prior to event for incidentals or overages.
What internet and technology capabilities are available for meetings and events, including support for hybrid or virtual setups?
The Exchange Studio is equipped with modern A/V, an 85” Smart TV, and guest controlled ambient audio. This meeting space offers ClickShare technology for seamless, wireless presentations for your meetings.
The Eliza Pinckney Courtyard also features guest wireless internet and ambient music in both spaces.
Are outdoor event spaces available, and what is the contingency plan in case of inclement weather?
Yes, the Eliza Pinckney Courtyard offers a garden setting for receptions, dinners, and celebrations which is adjacent to the Exchange Studio meeting space. Any contingency plans for inclement weather are to be provided by your event planner in conjunction with the Andrew Pinckney Inn when finalizing the agreement.
Is there a fitness center or gym on-site?
The inn currently does not have a fitness center or gym on-site but is affiliated with MUSC Wellness Center and guests may request a pass to the Wellness Center during its operational hours.
